[Consciousness] Artificial Conciousness is Impossible, by David Hsing

This is a very well-argued essay on why AI cannot ever be conscious. The basic argument is that current AI lacks inherent meaning (see my paper below) and qualia, and it never will. I agree with this point of view regarding the current AI, but I am not sure if it is really that impossible.
